What does a Shred Scopes subscription include?
A Shred Scopes subscription unlocks the full Studio. You can export unlimited videos, create and save custom overlay templates, use custom images, save GoPro telemetry to your account, use Batch Mode, and store up to 150 GB of saved telemetry and custom images.
Is there more than one paid plan?
No. Shred Scopes has one paid feature set with monthly and yearly billing options. Both options unlock the same Studio features.
Does Shred Scopes offer a free trial?
Shred Scopes does not offer a time-limited trial of full access. You can create a free account and use Demo Mode to explore the Studio before you subscribe.
What can I do in Demo Mode?
Demo Mode lets you explore the Studio and load a sample clip. It does not let you export videos, save telemetry, save custom templates, or use custom images in templates.
Can I use my subscription on more than one computer?
Yes. You can use the Studio with full access on multiple computers. Log in to each computer with the same Shred Scopes account.
Does Shred Scopes store or archive my source GoPro videos?
No. The Studio renders your source video locally in your browser, and your footage never leaves your computer. If you choose to save telemetry from that footage to your account, Shred Scopes saves only the extracted telemetry data, not the source footage.
Which browser should I use?
Use a current desktop version of Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, or another Chromium-based browser for the full feature set. Firefox and Safari are not fully supported, and Batch Mode requires a Chromium-based browser.
Can I use Shred Scopes on a phone or tablet?
No. The Shred Scopes web app requires a supported desktop browser. Mobile browsers are not supported.
Do I need to install an app?
No. The Shred Scopes Studio runs in a supported desktop browser. You do not need to install a desktop application for the current web workflow.
How can I check whether my GoPro video will work before I subscribe?
Open “Test GoPro Footage For GPS Telemetry” and select the source video. The check runs in your browser and tells you whether the clip contains readable GPS telemetry; it does not upload the footage.
What counts toward the 150 GB storage allowance?
Saved telemetry uploads and images uploaded for custom templates count toward the 150 GB allowance. Your source GoPro videos stay on your computer and are not part of this storage allowance.
Do exported videos count toward the 150 GB storage allowance?
No. Finished videos are exported to your computer. The 150 GB allowance applies to saved telemetry and custom images stored in your Shred Scopes account.
What happens to my saved files if I cancel?
Saved telemetry and custom images are retained for 180 days after your final billing period ends. After that retention period, those files are permanently deleted. Custom overlay templates are retained indefinitely.
Can I recover retained files by resubscribing within 180 days?
Yes. If you resubscribe within 180 days, your retained files are restored and remain accessible for the full duration of your active subscription. If you cancel again, the retention period resets based on the end of your most recent final billing period.
What currency does Shred Scopes use?
Shred Scopes subscription prices are set in US dollars, but they may be converted to the equivalent amount in your local currency if you are outside the US. If your payment account uses another currency, your payment provider determines the conversion rate and any related fees.
