How to Delete Your Shred Scopes Account

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Account deletion permanently deletes all files stored in your account, so be sure to download any files that you want to preserve locally before starting this process.

Begin:

1. Open "Account Settings".
2. Scroll to "Danger Zone" under "Delete Account".
3. Enter DELETE in "Type DELETE".
4. Choose the account-deletion action.

Shred Scopes sends a deletion code to the account email. The request is not complete until that code is confirmed.

Confirm:

1. Open the deletion message.
2. Return to the "Final confirmation" dialog.
3. Enter the value in "Deletion Code".
4. Confirm permanent deletion.
