How to Open Batch Mode

Open Batch Mode by selecting 2 or more GoPro videos together from the Studio's normal starting screen. There is no separate Batch Mode button in the Studio navigation.

Use a current desktop Chromium-based browser, such as Chrome, Edge, Brave, or Opera. If the browser cannot grant folder access, Studio cannot open Batch Mode and will offer to load one selected video in Standard mode instead.

Open Batch Mode from the starting screen

  1. Open Shred Scopes Studio and find the "Drop GoPro Clips" starting screen.
  2. Turn on "Cache telemetry in account" if you want Studio to save the extracted telemetry to your account.
  3. Click "Choose Clip," or drag your GoPro videos onto "Drop GoPro Clips."
  4. Select 2 or more .mp4, .mov, or .360 files in the same file selection.
  5. In the "Video Files Selected" dialog, click "Yes, Batch Mode."
  6. On "Choose Batch Workflow," select "Batch Template Export" or "Batch Source Composite."

Studio adds the files to the source queue and starts extracting their telemetry in sequence. The first ready source opens for preview after you choose a workflow and the source is ready.

The file-selection dialog also includes these choices:

  • "No, Use One File" lets you choose one of the selected videos for Standard mode. The rest of that selection is not loaded.
  • "Cancel" closes the dialog without loading the selection.

Switch from Standard mode

If a source video is already loaded in Studio, you can keep it as the first source and add more videos:

  1. Click "Change Source File."
  2. Confirm "Change Source File" to open the file picker.
  3. Select 2 or more additional GoPro videos together.
  4. In "Switch to Batch Mode?" click "Add to Batch."

The current source becomes the first item in the new batch. Studio adds the newly selected videos after it and opens "Choose Batch Workflow."

Next, use How to Use Batch Mode to configure the source queue, choose output settings, and run the export.
