What Is Batch Mode?

Batch Mode is the multi-video export workflow inside Shred Scopes Studio. It starts when you select 2 or more local GoPro clips together, then lets you prepare and export one video for every included source.

Batch Mode is separate from "Import GoPro Clips" in "Manage Media." That page saves telemetry from several clips to your account; it does not open the Studio batch-rendering workflow.

Use a current desktop Chromium-based browser, such as Chrome, Edge, Brave, or Opera. Batch Mode needs browser permission to write several outputs directly to a folder you select, so it is not available when the browser cannot provide folder access.

What Batch Mode does

After you enter Batch Mode, Studio:

  • Reads each selected clip and extracts its GoPro telemetry in sequence.
  • Shows every clip in a source queue with its extraction, review, exclusion, and export status.
  • Lets you add, remove, reorder, preview, include, or skip sources before export.
  • Applies one shared workflow setup while using the telemetry and source footage from each included clip.
  • Checks output names, template data requirements, source dimensions, and existing files before export.
  • Renders the queue one item at a time into a local output folder.

The original source videos remain on your device. If you turn on "Cache telemetry in account" before selecting the clips, Studio can save the extracted telemetry to your account, but it does not save the source footage there.

Batch Template Export

"Batch Template Export" (BTE) applies one telemetry-overlay template to every ready source. Choose this workflow when you want a separate overlay video for each GoPro clip and plan to combine those overlays with footage later.

BTE supports the same overlay choices shown in the Studio "Export" panel: transparency-capable MOV or WebM formats, an H.264 MP4 with a keyed background, export-size scaling, and source timecode for supported formats.

Batch Source Composite

"Batch Source Composite" (BSC) places each original GoPro video on the canvas, adds one or more telemetry-template overlays, and exports a finished MP4 for every included source. Compatible source audio is included in each output.

The canvas, template overlays, and video-encoding setup are shared across the batch. You can still review and adjust the source framing and export range for each individual clip.
