Save a custom template when you want to keep changes made in the Template Editor or Source Compositor.
Save changes
- Open a custom template in Studio.
- Make the required edits.
- Choose "Save", or press Command+S on macOS or Control+S on Windows and Linux.
- Wait until the tab no longer indicates unsaved changes.
Save a separate copy
- Open any built-in or custom template.
- Choose "Save As", or press Command+Shift+S on macOS or Control+Shift+S on Windows and Linux.
- Enter a distinct template name.
- Confirm the save.
Use a copy when starting from a built-in design or when you want to preserve the current custom version.
Save a custom template in the source compositor
When you add and position one or more templates in the Source Compositor view over a source video, you can save this configuration as a template as well. To do so, press the "SAVE AS TEMPLATE" button in the side drawer. This will create a new template with the same size as the export canvas, with all the templates you added included as nested child templates.
